The Achut Foundation is a Girl-Child’s rights and Non-Profit Organization established in 2007 by a young South Sudanese 16 year old girl called YOM DENG BUL and other Five members who are highly motivated and committed for contributing their knowledge, time, skills and energies for the development and empowerment of socially disadvantaged and vulnerable girls in South Sudan by Girl-Child Protection, alleviating illiteracy, poverty and gender based discriminations against Girls.

The Achut Foundation is a Girl-Child rights organization named in honors of Yom Dneg Bul's mother called Achut Deng Mabior who died of family violent in 1991. It’s a non-governmental, not-profit and non-sectarian and non-partisan organization working for social development and empowerment of vulnerable and war affected girls in the Republic of South Sudan through Education, Girl-Child Welfare and Girl-Child Rights Protection .

It’s a human rights-centered NGO. The AF could also be labeled as an implementing organization which designs and implements various developmental projects for Girl-Child in South Sudan with the financial and technical support from the International Organizations and Humanitarian Agencies.
